Reflections from the Road!

February has been a month of extreme challenges and changes for me. I am currently working on ‘coming out of the metaphysical closet’ more and more to reveal the Essence of who I am, my Soul and allow that to shine through in all I say and do. Part of that journey involves telling people what I do for a living openly if they ask rather than hiding behind being a ‘counsellor’ or ‘life coach’. I’m a psychic consultant or an intuitive Guide and mentor, a spiritual teacher and a messenger. People still say ‘Whaaat??’ but I have learned to release their reactions and be true to myself in a way that was just in the ‘too hard’ box previously. We are either expressing our Soul and Spirit or we are not, there is no middle ground anymore… at least for me
As such travelling down to the Festival of Opportunities in Nelson a few weeks ago I was guided to place Promotional Car Magnets on my vehicle… These had the name of my business, phone number and website and the words ‘Heart Centred Psychic Readings’ FOR THE WORLD TO SEE. (not like on the internet where people have to ‘search’ to find you etc lol)
It was very interesting to observe various people’s reactions on noticing my signage. On the freeway they would rubberneck while overtaking, in parking lots pedestrians would slow down or speed up and look nervous or interested, and one gentleman took about as wide a berth as possible around my car!
There were strange looks, stares, feigning disinterest, open nervousness and heaps of people who took not one jot of notice! The point of this exercise according to my guides was to more freely exchange energy with the Universe. To break down my discomfort of being in an alternative field and therefore somehow less accepted in society. It was a challenge at first, but I have not taken the signs off (although they will need a clean pretty soon).
I’m sharing this as there are always ways we can challenge into those areas where we have been hiding our light or not fully engaging or bringing our presence into the world….
Holding the Retreat earlier this year was another way that my Guides challenged into my beliefs about the expression of my gifts and this experience completely revolutionised my view of what is possible… and I look forward to holding another retreat in the coming months..

A wonderful and growing percentage of people I work with are metaphysical men. This Divine group of courageous individuals are breaking out of the shackles society tries to place around them and stepping more fully into their own Divine Gifts, Soul’s truth and experience of themselves as Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience.

My Guides and I are seeking 12 very special Metaphysical Men to join us for a 4 day residential retreat January 25th through 28th, 2012 at the Beautiful Tauhara Retreat Centre in Taupo, New Zealand.

The retreat is called ‘Divining Man’ – Experience the Essence of Who You Are.

We will be creating Sacred Space to journey into our most Essential Self. Reconnecting with the True Essence and Divine Nature of our Being. We will be bringing ourselves into present time, acknowledging our gifts and challenges and harnessing our innate ability to tap into Universal Energy and Spiritual Guidance to create a fulfilling, joyful and meaningful human experience.

Journey with a maximum of 11 other participants and enter into a brotherhood of growth, awareness and discovery. This promises to be a transformational 4 days where each of us becomes both teacher and student as our own wisdom emerges.

This retreat is facilitated by Jehanne Thomas and her Spirit Guides and will unfold specifically in response to those who answer the call to attend.

Stepping into the Unknown

Quite recently, in the last 6 months or so I took the pivotal decision to really allow myself to be really open to inspiration in my life. As an intuitive guide I am comfortable opening up to inspiration for my clients on a regular basis, yet somehow, its been a bit of a journey for me to regularly check in and ask my own guides for their wisdom and support in creating the shape of my particular walk of life. I have had to let go of fears and insecurities around feeling deserving of guidance in my life, and I have also had to identify what my ideal life experience would look and feel like (for some reason this was hard for me). My intention each day now is to allow my Higher Self into the driving seat and to allow myself to literally be moved into the right place at the right time to bring me into alignment with my soul purpose. This is like stepping into the unknown but at the same time feeling like I am invisibly supported and indeed even compelled to take action DESPITE my fears. It has required of me a willingness to let go of rigid forms and literally ‘go with the flow’ and numerous coincidences and miracles have abounded as a result. So now I build a degree of flexibility into my week to allow myself the opportunity to follow through on seemingly ‘random’ guidance or insights and allow events to unfold in synchronistic and often very helpful ways. Recently my guides urged me to get more engaged with Facebook and social media, and while this previously would have felt inauthentic to me, I recognized a need to feel more connected with like minded souls. And guess what? Social media have connected me with new friends from all over the world and I hope will continue to do so! In facing my fears and taking action despite them, in alignment with guidance that truly resonated with me and jump started me into feeling alive, focused and compelled to take action, I feel more able to continue stepping into the unknown in faith and trust, and a deeper connection to my own Spirit.

Journey to Peace, Power, Wise knowing & Purposeful Action

Many clients approach me for a clairvoyant reading or vibrational therapy session when they find themselves struggling with intense inner conflict. This conflict usually takes the form of a struggle between what they feel they ‘should’ do and what their heart & soul is calling them to do. This ‘calling’ can be felt as a yearning or an uneasy feeling or even a direct and opposite ‘tug’ towards what they believe they ‘should’ be doing. This ‘tug’ often points to the client’s deep held dream and passion for creativity. That is, expressing our creative power to choose our experience and manifest new and higher levels of success and mastery in a chosen direction. At times a person’s inner voice and yearning to try something new is labelled as ’irrational’ or ‘crazy’ or just not practical in the current financial climate of fear. There is always a way if something feels important to you, to take steps towards that, even while in a situation that appears contrary to what you are wishing to create. Whether these perceptions are born of the soul or from outside opinion, it can take support and energy and ‘know how’ to work with the whole being and facilitate an inner realignment which assists in manifesting a more authentic, joyful and directed experience. That is where intuitive guides and counsellors such as myself come in, to offer a broader perspective and assist in highlighting what your soul’s current focus and learning is.

As humans we are born to desire and to try to meet those desires. This is wired into our make up and key to our motivations in life. When we allow our deeply held and often unacknowledged yearnings to go unnoticed, ignored or under nourished, we close down to our intuitive pathway and greatest chances of expressing those qualities of soulfulness which we have come to birth into the world. It may come as a surprise to some that these soulful qualities which we are secretly yearning to explore, grow and give expression to, are exactly what the Universe is asking, inviting, welcoming and waiting for us to deliver!

The life you have wanted to live with all the qualities you wish to express and experience are available to you if you are willing to put in the ‘effort’ of bringing about desired results. There is no such thing as a free lunch as the saying goes, however when travelling with guidance, you have a co-pilot and often a greater chance of success in achieving your goals. The journey may be exciting, and the path may be turbulent at times. But when we ditch the ‘should’s’ and say yes to our joy and soul’s calling, as we resolve and fine tune our inner conflict; as we travel towards inner peace; as we claim our inner and outward power; as we access our wise knowing and as we translate this to purposeful action we experience a great deal of success and fulfillment which translates into all spheres of life.

Signs that you or someone you know may be struggling with inner conflict are: feelings of anger, resentment and irritability or even depression and ’dis-ease’ such as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia , and immunological issues, to name but a few. Feeling withdrawn from life and not wishing to engage in one’s deeper journey, soul purpose or spiritual journey can also be symptoms of having given one’s power away and not claiming or connecting with your soul and experiences that give joy, passion, enthusiasm and fulfillment to this life experience.
